Back to Basics
I spent the past few weeks getting super clear on what I need to do in order to start feeling better and quite frankly more like myself. The list I came up with included getting more sleep, drinking more water, eating more food, and moving my body on a regular basis, ideally outside. I also wrote down that I would love to bring back a few of my favorite daily rituals, one being my evening skincare routine and the other being my homemade morning matcha. I know all of these things sound fairly simple but I have been neglecting most of them for the past 9+ months. I also know that the best way to get back to myself is by slowly working these things back in. When I look at my list as a whole it feels a bit overwhelming but if I break it up into weekly goals it starts to feel more realistic. This week I was able to incorporate more movement, bring back my morning matcha, and I even snuck in a few naps. It feels so good and Iām just getting started! Here are a few snaps from the week.
