Girl Crush: Melissa Wood - Tepperberg

Hi Mamas!

It’s been a while, and to be completely honest it’s because I was feeling very unmotivated and freaking tired again. I have a tendency to get into these ruts, especially when I’m not prioritizing my well-being. I have been really working on pulling myself out of it this past week. I am 14 months into motherhood and more motivated than ever to feel good.

I find Melissa Wood Tepperberg’s MWH method is so key for getting me back on track. As soon as I get into a rhythm of doing one of her flows and meditations daily everything else seems to fall into place. I truly believe that starting the day off with these two things creates mental space for making better decisions the rest of the day. I start eating better, I drink more water, I get outside more, I make more time for all of the little things that light me up and for the practices that ground me. If you are in a rut or are in need of a new way to move your body I highly recommend trying her method on. She offers a 7 day free trial for new members.

One of the things I love about MWH is that a lot of her workouts are only 15/20 minutes so it’s super easy to fit in daily, especially as a new mom. Consistency is so key with both movement and mindfulness. You really start to feel a shift when you build these things into your life. I know this because I’ve been here before. I had been doing her method consistently since 2020 and throughout my pregnancy. Committing to this practice was key in healing a lot of my anxiety. With all of that said, I’m so excited to bring her back into my life. As I mentioned, I’m only a week in but already feeling a major shift.

Also, very happy to report that she now has a podcast, Move With Heart. I am truly inspired by all she does. I’ve learned so many great self care methods through her from gua sha to dry brushing, and lymphatic massage; not to mention some of my favorite smoothie recipes. She has such a beautiful perspective on so many things. Unfortunately this is not sponsored.. I just love all things MWH and felt called to share her and her method with you :)

xx, Megan Michaela
