Hi friends!
I am a new mom who has put myself on the back burner and am finally ready to change that. I’m using this blog to document my journey and hold myself accountable. I’m also here to share fun finds and hopefully build community; Stay tuned for upcoming gatherings!
Before becoming a mother I had come into the wellness space after struggling with severe anxiety for a few years leading up to the pandemic. Once the lockdown started I was able to slow down and really focus on myself and my wellbeing. I was nourishing myself with real foods, spending a lot of time outdoors, moving my body daily, and spending tons of quality time with my family. I also had a lot of time to look inward and reflect on what brought me joy, and I kept coming back to wellness and the act of creating these little rituals. I had become the most relaxed and centered version of myself during this time and decided I wanted to learn how to share this knowledge and more with others. That’s when I discovered IIN and enrolled. I graduated from the program towards the end of 2021, just after giving birth to my daughter Goldie.
As a new mom, I quickly put aside most of what I had learned. Becoming mama has been the most beautiful and rewarding time in my life, I could not be more in love, but with that said I am currently running on empty. I am so ready to blend motherhood and wellness, I know the two can coexist and cannot wait to see what that looks and feels like.
